making the case for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles

Being a buyer that is willing to consider everything from fuel efficient vehicles with ICE engines and even some of the latest EV's/hybrids, the rise of Hydrogen Fuel Cell vehicles presents an interesting case that's not entirely like those other options. So far here's what convincing me to get one, feel free to add your own selling points...
  • better for longer-range as demand grows
  • scalability (especially with brands that also cater to commercial markets)
  • zero emissions
  • lower cost
  • and more...

it also helps that we have some major players like Toyota, a big proponent for fuel cell vehicles that didn't jump on EV's unlike some other well established car makers

The only biproduct of FCV is water and the improvements they will have on the environment once adopted on a large scale could be huge. They also have significantly shorter refill times than even the newest EV's, basically matching what we've become accustom to with ICE's.

What i'll be most interested in is seeing how long these vehicles can run because on a planet of finite resources, the longer a products shelf life the more eco-friendly it actually is.
